House churches are meeting in Tustin, Torrance area, Monrovia, San Diego, Ventura and two at USC. Find out more here. January 2013: We are gathering churches who want to start a Messy Church! Training begins February 23, 10-12 noon at Hope UMC, Torrance. Contact us here about being part of this training. December 2012 we are working with The Border Church . A church which gathers on both sides of the border to worship and celebrate communion. We are also starting a new Discipleship Huddle to grow leadership in local churches. November 2012 we are in conversation with a new gathering of day laborers in Long Beach and two churches are gathering teams to begin training to start Messy Churches which will begin in 2013 - both churches are in Torrance. August 2012 our Ventura House Church launches!
July 2012 the circle is expanding in our Tustin House Church, we met to set launch dates with 2-3 groups at USC and were contacted by two new leaders.
May 2012 we celebrated two baptism at our South Bay House Church.
May 2012 a second House Church began in the South Bay (Torrance/Long Beach area). This group's mission is to resource children in need around issues of hunger.
April 2012 we began working with Rosewood UMC (Lost Angeles) to transition 5 Care Groups into House Churches. This is a commuter church that has 5 groups meeting throughout the Glendale, Los Angeles, Pasadena area.
March 2012 we are meeting in our Tustin, CA House Church. This is a group of folks connected around supporting and encouraging families and putting God first.
March 2012 we began working with campus ministry at USC to set up dorm churches.

We are the UMC House Church Network, an initiate of New Ministries of the California-Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our goal is to assist laity in starting and leading micro-church communities.
